Matteo Cibic, THE FLEXIBLE LIVING

The iconic Timberland shoe has expanded to invade the catwalk of Edolo’s Town Hall. Four shoes that mark four points of support for a sculpture that is both playful and elegant. Made to be experienced, made to sit on soft white seats. It is a work designed by the young Matteo Cibic, an Italian designer known and appreciated all over the world who, with his volutes, has interpreted the concept of flexibility of the shoe and of the human step. It is a design work, a clearly promotional work, but one that tells us how blurred the boundaries are between contemporary art, design, participatory art and play. In this sense it is an emblematic work, and as such entrusted to the fun, but also to the respectful use of the inhabitants of Edolo.
