Marta Carenzi, EDOLO 1:3, 2017

«This is the title. It reads: Edolo one to three, in the sense of proportion, which is relation. Each image is made up of the relationship between the three images. The triptych bears within itself this relationship (of signs, lights, shadows, subjects, forces, weights), always told with the long, suspended times of landscape photography».
They are the formal synthesis and didactic clarity typical of photographers descended from Luigi Ghirri or Giovanni Chiaramonte. The photographs were fifteen jewels with which to tell the story of their own Edolo, a city invaded by the sun, made up of silence, of an object to be used as a pivot for three views, of some reckless lines that stretch the intersections to the limit, of two pairs of ducts that seem to innervate and demote the city. In the centre, a concert of empty and full cubes and, to close, a eulogy of wood, which places the end between rigour and chaos.
