Zeus!, COLLAGISTS ANONYMOUS
One magazine, six collages, one team. Il Cardo is a social cooperative, very important for Edolo, which has rightfully earned a nice showcase in the city for this edition of Contexto. For the occasion, the showcase became a transparent box, to be viewed from many angles, invaded by the work created around the Zeus!magazine, which the cooperative has been publishing for many years. A publication made artistic by the care and originality with which it is written. On the left, a large triptych of collages paying homage to the enchanted and monstrous world of the Flemish painter Hieronymus Bosh, reinterpreted here in a monochromatic key. On the right, hovering in the middle were three large collages made not by the children, but by the operators themselves, under the guidance of the Venetian illustrator Oscar Sabini and destined for the cover of issue 70 of the magazine. Collage confirmed its metaphorical meaning: a medium in which the guided juxtaposition of different elements gives rise to a common beauty.
